Sleep Wellness Equipment & Supplies is Hiring a Durable Medical Equipment Coordinator Near Carbondale, IL
Overview: A reliable and professional team member that would maintain proper documentation and have great customer service skills at our DME company. We have one office location at 2731 W Main St, Carbondale, IL and the hours are Monday-Thursday 8:00 am-5:00 pm and Fridays 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
Job duties:
Maintain proper documentation to get insurance approvals and payments
Verify insurance eligibility and authorizations
Collect copays from patients for equipment and supplies not covered by insurance
Great customer service skills in contacting patients by phone or in our local office
Ordering equipment and supplies to fill patient orders
Answering phone calls in a professional manner from patients, doctors offices, and sleep lab facilities
Posting payments and electronically sending out daily insurance claims
Maintaining proper documentation for Joint Commission Accreditation
Other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
